Your public club page and completed tournament sites stay online. A lapsed plan removes paid analysis and presentation, not history.
Questions clubs ask
Is the club page really free?
Yes. Every club can publish a live page with scores, results and team records, and it can appear in search, for free. The Club tier adds featured placement, a short address, and your colors, logo and sponsor. It never buys the page itself.
What do the paid tiers actually buy?
Analysis and presentation, never your data. Coach gives one coach the analysis for a whole squad. Club adds two Coach seats per team, your logo and colors, featured placement, roster exports and a tournament each year. Player Pass adds depth to one player's own numbers. Matches, results and records are free on every plan.
What happens to our data if we stop paying?
Every match you score stays in your history. If a subscription ends, paid analysis and branding switch off, but your results and completed tournament sites remain available.
Can Coach analyze matches we scored before we upgraded?
Yes, wherever the match was tagged. Every metric comes from the match's own event log, so upgrading reads your whole back catalog, not just the next match. The exception is a result typed in by hand: it counts towards your record, but there is no point-by-point log for the analysis to read.
Is it safe for a club with juniors?
Yes. Public match pages hide player names unless a team chooses otherwise, and a team marked junior can never show them. Rosters and milestones stay inside the club. Adult teams can switch to initials or full names when their players agree. See safeguarding and data for the detail.
Who actually does the scoring?
One person scores courtside on their phone, usually a parent or a player who is off. Each point takes one tap. The app does not use a camera or try to score the match automatically.
Can we add matches we played before volleyOS?
Yes. Type in the set scores and the match joins your history and season records. There is no point-by-point log behind it, just the scoreline and the winner, but it counts like any other match.
Does everyone need to install something?
Only whoever is scoring. Everyone else opens a link in the browser they already have. There is no camera, video or upload. Only the score travels, which is why it survives a bad hall connection.
